name

Nettaiya means a tropical night (25 celcius and above). So a moderately hot night. This is name is taken from a song by the j-pop band, SPEED. It's one of my favorite song. And I used to love SPEED so much. ^_^ Plus I want a domain name that is short so that it is easy to remember.

Site Info

I used to own Kenren.net (if anyone remembers it) since 2003. But as of November 2005, I've chosen this domain Nettaiya.org. Why the change? Kenren.net was fun to have but I can't stand the freakin' spams! I guess in the beginning I sent out too much of my email there around.

Previously I was hosted at Netrillium.I never had any troubles and they were a very nice host. The features and services that they offered was excellent but I don't use half of them. But then I needed more space and Netrillium was a bit too expensive for me to stay. So now I've moved over to UO INdustries. More space and the price suits me well. They are a nice as well. I'm happy. ^_^

Layout

It's a picture I took while I was in a car travelling through Melaka. Yeah, yeah, I wanted a picture that represented a 'tropical night', to fit the domain name. but I don't have any of those pics in my folders. It looks.. erm.. tropical enough. Only it's not set during the night. :P

The picture at the guestbook was in NZ. The guide took us to a sort of remote place to take the nice pictures. *o* but I'm not a good photographer. My photographs look plain. I like the others' pics. ^^
